DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER REQUIRED

Pay Range: L12-18 of the Leadership Pay Spine (Outer London)

The governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic school leader to support the Headteacher in further improving our school.  The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, exemplary teacher with significant experience across the primary age range and at senior management level.

The Governors and Head teacher wish to appoint a School Business Manager with suitable experience to join our Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the effective leadership, management and administration of the school with specific responsibility for: financial management, facilities, health and safety, risk management, marketing and human resources.

The post offers an exciting opportunity for the right person to make an important contribution to the leadership and management of the school.  It is a challenging role with huge opportunity for development, support and training.

Successful applicants should have:

  • A certificate in School Business Management (CSBM) or a relevant professional qualification in financial management/HR
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Financial management experience
  • Ability to lead and manage people effectively
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Enthusiasm for being involved in all aspects of school life
